Benha University Launches the Student Code of Conduct to Reinforce University Values and Ethical Commitment

As part of its commitment to fostering a safe and respectful learning environment, Benha University has announced the launch of its Student Code of Conduct and Ethical Guidelines, aimed at strengthening academic and social discipline among students, and instilling values of respect and responsibility both on and off campus.

The Code outlines a set of provisions governing the relationship between students and the university community, most notably:

  • Commitment to academic integrity and prohibition of cheating or plagiarism.
  • Respect for faculty members, staff, and fellow students.
  • Preservation of university property and educational facilities.
  • Avoidance of inappropriate behaviors, including bullying or unauthorized photography.
  • Commitment to proper appearance and disciplined behavior within the university.

The University Administration affirmed that this Code serves as a fundamental reference for all students, and that enrollment at the university implies implicit agreement to its terms. It also stressed that lack of awareness of the Code does not exempt students from legal or disciplinary accountability in the event of violations.

This initiative comes within the University’s continuous efforts to strengthen institutional identity, provide a motivating educational environment based on mutual respect and discipline, and enhance the overall quality of the educational process, thereby reinforcing Benha University’s standing at both the national and international levels.
