Prof. Dr. Ghazy M.R. Assassa, the Chief Information Officer ‹‹CIO›› said that in the frame of providing the scientific databases for researchers and students in Benha University, the University invites faculty members, researchers and students to attend a workshop about ‹‹Introduction to the Egyptian Knowledge Bank›› that will be held under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of the University on Wednesday, 16/03/2016, 10:00am at the Great Hall of Celebrations

Benha University will receive on Sunday, 13/03/2016 a delegation from 23 Egyptian universities in addition to Al Azhar University to participate in the Egyptian Cabinet Simulation Model hosted by the University from Tomorrow to Tuesday, 15/03/2016. This event will be held under the auspices of Dr. Ashraf El Shihy, the Minister of Higher Education and Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of the University.

Dr. Mosbeh El Kohiely, the General Manager of the Youth Welfare Department in Benha University said that the Scientific and Technological Activity participated in the 8th Scientific Forum of the Egyptian Universities which organized by Helwan University. Hel also referred Benha University got the 1st place between 16 participated universities.

On Sunday, 14/02/2016 a workshop has been held to evaluate the performance of Benha University E-portal on Cloud Computing Environment at the University Council Hall with cooperation of Microsoft and Link companies. It is worth mentioning that Benha University is the first public university hosts the Cloud Computing Environment on its E-portal.

Prof. Dr. Saad Mahmoud Saad, the Director of Benha University Quality Assurance Center said that the Projects Management Unit in the Ministry of Higher Education has approved to finance the projects presented by the faculties of Education, Specific Education, and Physical Education to support and develop the educational effectiveness as a phase to qualify such faculties to get the accreditation from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education “NAQAAE”.

Benha University has participated by a delegation from the faculty of education in the events of the 5th Scientific and 3rd International Conference organized by the faculty of education, Port Said University under the title of “Egyptian school in the 21th century in the light of global trends for education”.
In the same context, Dr. Alaa Saad El Din, the Professor at the faculty of education and the director of FLDC, Benha University said the faculty has participated by a scientific research under the title of “Science and Technology Excellence Schools: Opportunities and Challenges”.

A delegation from Benha University included Prof. Dr. Gamal Ismail, the University Vice-president for Community Service and environment Development Affairs and Prof. Dr. El Sayed Foda, the Dean of the Faculty of Law participated in the International Exhibition on Higher Education 2016 in the Sultanate of Oman.
It is worth mentioning that Benha University pavilion attracted students of postgraduate studies in the disciplines of law, engineering, information technology, business administration, Arabic, human resources, and veterinary medicine.

Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University said in the frame of the University policy for openness to the world and with cooperation of the Francophone Cultural Activities Center “CAF” which affiliated with the Cultural Outreach Sector in Bibliotheca Alexandrina; several activities that vary from lectures, discussions, conferences, workshops and various cultural and scientific meetings have been organized.

Benha University has participated in the events of the European Standards and Guidelines in Higher Education Conference 2016 which held in the Dutch capital of Amsterdam in the duration from Monday, 14/03/2016 to Tuesday, 15/03/2016 in the presence of Mr. Alexandre Wipf, the Secretary General of EURASHE .

It is worth mentioning that the University has been represented by Prof. Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ghanem, the Director of E-learning Center.

Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University has received Mrs. KisanaYankovic, the Head of Foreign Relations Office in South Ural State University, Russia to discuss the cooperation ways between the two universities in the presence of Prof. Dr. Hesham Abu El Enin, the University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches' Affairs
